Quality
Control / Interviewer Training
Each study awarded to TMR
is assigned to a project director.
A project director is responsible for seeing that the study is
completed within the specifications and time frame outlined by our
client. The project director serves as a liaison between our
supervisory staff and the client. The project director reviews the
study progress on a daily basis with TMR
management.
Our supervisors assign
interviewers to each project according to
the field schedule necessary to complete the study. Supervisors
carry the study specifications to the actual interviewing process.
All completed interviews are thoroughly edited by the supervisor or
a department assistant (editor). Again, the project director
oversees this process.

TMR maintains an off-line
support ratio to interviewers of 1:7. This support staff encompasses supervising,
monitoring and editing personnel. Ten percent of all work is validated either
though monitoring or validation callback.
Members of our interviewing staff
are thoroughly briefed on each study to which they are assigned. In addition
to the specific study briefing, interviewers participate in periodic seminars
on various aspects of interviewing (i.e., probing, refusal reduction, etc.)
Along with this training individuals are counseled on various topics according
to needs identified in the monitoring/editing process.
Currently TMR
has over three hundred trained interviewers on staff, and we operate seven
days per week.
